Day 30 – 1 Peter 2.5: You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1. Pray that we will use the wonderful privilege we have to intercede as priests for others before God, and to make known to them His love and His will.
2. Pray for Iglesia Emanuel of Lakewood, their pastor Rev. Jose Luis Gallegos, his wife Rosa and their family, their church leaders, and congregation.
3. Pray for the First Southern Baptist Church of Lakewood Hispanic group, their pastor Bismarck Alvarado, his wife and family, their leaders, and people.
4. Pray that the marriages of the members of our churches, and of their children, will be strong enough by the power of the Holy Spirit to resist divorce and abuse, and that these marriages will be full of truth, love, joy, faith, prayer, godly obedience, the importance of people to God, success (the accomplishment through problem-solving and momentum-building of God’s goals for them, failure (absolutely necessary but never fatal, as we need to learn what doesn’t work as well as what does).
5. Pray that our association will produce rapidly multiplying congregations for all ethnic groups in the Long Beach Harbor Southern Baptist Association area.
