LBH Zion Theological School (English) has these four courses:
1) Old Testament Survey course started Feb. 4th on Thursdays 6:25 PM;
2) Intro to Christian Theology starts Feb. 9th on Tuesdays 6:25 PM,
3) Missions, Evangelism, & Church Planting (three intensive weekends) of Feb. 26th-27th, Mar. 26th-27th, & Apr. 23rd-24th;
and 4) Special Study in the Holy Spirit: Pastoral Ministry (three intensive weekends) of March 5th-6th, 12th-13th, and 19th-20th.
The Long Beach Discipleship Development Center (Cambodian) has these two courses: 1) Old Testament Survey started Jan. 5th; and 2) Baptist History and Polity started Jan. 7th.
Also, CLD scholarships are needed to help several students who would like to take classes. Please contact Dr. Shin to help English-speaking students and Rev. Buon to help Cambodian-speaking students.
Day 1 – Luke 11.1: One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
- Pray that Jesus will teach all of us to pray as He did the disciples, with faith in Him that honors our heavenly Father. Jesus desires to teach His people to pray.
- Pray for the Bible Believers Missionary Baptist Church, as they seek a new senior pastor, their church leaders, and congregation, and for interim pastor Rev. John Allred and his wife Nina.
- Pray for the Carson Baptist Church, their pastor Rev. Harvey Martindill, his wife Nancy and their family, their church leaders, and congregation.
- Pray for the city of Artesia, for their elected and appointed officials, for their citizens, and for God’s will to be done in that city.
- Pray for those Long Beach Harbor Southern Baptist Association churches that are plateaued or declining in spirit and/or numbers, that our Lord will transform them anew to reach the lost around them.
