The law of enduring negativity states that human nature continually gravitates toward negative feelings and dissatisfaction.

The Old Testament book of Jonah builds the case for creating plans that bow to the winds of the marketplace or culture, not the whim of the leader.  Jonah learns that forces stronger than he are in control.

A leader who acts justly will go to battle to protect liberty, law, and life.  Though he slay the enemy, he will practice mercy and humility when the fighting is over.

Day 20 – John 14.12-13: I am going to the Father.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

1. Pray that our prayers and work will be like those of Jesus, to bring glory to our heavenly Father in all things.
2. Pray for St. John Missionary Baptist Church, their pastor Rev. James Brooks, his family, their church leaders, and congregation.
3. Pray for Christ New Testament Baptist Church, their pastor Rev. John Henderson, his wife Dorselene and their family, their church leaders, and congregation.
4. Pray for the city of Rolling Hills Estates, their elected and appointed officials, their citizens, and for God’s will to be done in that city.
5. Pray for the International Mission Board and its president Dr. Tom Eucliff, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, the IMB missionaries, the support staff in the USA and overseas, and international mission volunteers who serve in a variety of short term mission projects.
